"Chili" is a 1991, registered American
Quarter Horse Association mare by Impressive Showoff ( So Impressive X Sugar's Show Off), out of Pondie Leigh (Mr Pondie Zip
X Spanish Leigh). She stands at 15.1HH and is a pretty roaning sorrel colour, with a large blaze and two white socks. Chili
is an extremely well bred mare, with all the foundation names breeders want. Genetic testing results: HYPP= N/N.
Her
5 generation pedigree boasts such names as Impressive, Leo, Zippo Pat Bars, Three Bars, Lightning Bar and even Wimpy. With
this incredible pedigree, she is a welcome sign to anyone's breeding program. Chili was shown locally in 2003 and 2005,
with surprising results after years of being a broodmare. Judges commented on her steady, yet expressive paces and
her quiet "on the job" way of going. She has been shown in hunter classes (under saddle only), in hand, gymkhana and competed
in reining in Quebec and NB in her earlier days. Chili was not shown in 2006, due to injury, but has made a full recovery
and is ready to get back to work.
Chili is the mother of our 2004 Appendix AQHA filly,
by Morden Sunrise. She produces big, well proportioned foals and is a great mom. "Morgan" was her fourth foal. Other offspring
